Last night was INSANE. I woke up this morning feeling like I had gotten hit by a bus. My back hurts, my leg hurts, my neck hurts, but man it was worth it. First of all, 2/3 of the show was spent in the back, but because I could give a fuckless about 18 Visions or Avenged Sevenfold. But once Coheed came on, I eventually worked my way up to the barricade, which was extremely awesome...but jesus christ did it hurt. There were constant bodies falling ontop of me, insane amounts of pushing, and a douchebag next to me who didn't want anyone to touch him...but man it was tottaly worth it.

Me, Matt, and J all bought the same hoodie because we're awesome.

Avenged Sevenfold sucked ass. Not only did every single song sound exactly the same, but the singer was a moron too. Oh and the stupidest ass thing about them?...they are from THE O.C. yet they had rebel flag backdrops and flags on stage with them (which conveniently, no pictures were taken of). Yeah and as much as i appreciate a good guitar solo, when that one douchebag with the hat did his little "tribute" solo by himself...it was incredibly boring and stupid. It wasn't even well written, it was just him playing a bunch of scales. LAAAME.

Coheed was really badass, even though they only played 11 songs (the setlist from last october was WAY better). The crowd fucking lost their minds. But it was awesome being against the barricade. While Claudio was jammin out during The Final Cut (which included playing behind his head, with his teeth, and with a violin bow) he looked straight at me. But they DID put on a really good show.

All pictures courtesy of Leslie, except the last one which was taken by me and my phone, IN THE FRONT ROW! So yeah...it was a good show.
